Accessibility Statement for Broadmead Medical Centre
At Broadmead Medical Centre, we want our website to be easy for everyone to use. We are committed to making our online information accessible to all patients and the wider community.
Our website is built and maintained by Spindogs, an award-winning digital agency, in collaboration with NHS England. They are responsible for the platform’s overall functionality and accessibility. However, the content on this website is managed by BrisDoc Healthcare Services and Broadmead Medical Centre, and we are committed to keeping it accessible.
How We Support Accessibility
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, which set standards for making digital content more accessible. While we strive to follow best practices, we recognise there are some areas for improvement and are actively working on them.

Technical Accessibility Information
Broadmead Medical Centre is committed to making this website accessible in line with The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA due to the following issues:
Areas That Need Improvement
- Alternative Text for Images
A small number of images do not have alternative text. These images are decorative and do not contain important information. We are working to improve this. - Navigating Links More Easily
Some links use general phrases like “Find out more” without making the link’s purpose clear. This can make it harder for screen reader users to understand where the link goes. We are updating these links to be more descriptive.
What We’re Doing to Improve
We are actively working on these issues and aim to make improvements as soon as possible.
