Heart Disease Clinic Held by the Nurse
Our specialist nurses are pleased to see people with certain heart or vascular problems for their yearly check-up.
Healthy Weight Held by the Health Care Assistant
We are always happy to discuss ways to help you live a healthier lifestyle. For example, this can include ways to improve your diet or increase the amount of activity you do, to keep you fit and healthy for as long as possible. We are happy to monitor your weight and provide advice where appropriate and can offer assistance through discount vouchers and active choices.
Minor Surgery Held by the Doctor
Certain minor procedures can be performed at the surgery. Your GP can discuss this with you.
New Patient Check-up Held by the Health Care Assistant
Upon registering with the surgery, we ask you to book an appointment for a new patient check Up. We like to see all newly registered patients to review their current health, past family history and medicines. This enables us to provide a holistic approach to all your healthcare needs.
Your doctor or nurse will advise you if a blood test is needed.
Smoking Cessation Clinic Held by the Health Care Assistant
We are always pleased to support people who would like to try to stop smoking. Please make an appointment with our trained 'Stop Smoking' adviser.
First Contact Physiotherapy
Our First Contact Physiotherapist, Jarrad Heath can help patients with musculoskeletal issues such as back, neck and joint pain by:
- assessing and diagnosing issues
- giving expert advice on how best to manage their conditions
- referring them onto specialist services if necessary
Patients can request an appointment by speaking to the practice they are registered with.
By making it easier for patients to access physiotherapy, patients will have quicker access to diagnosis and treatment, helping them to manage their conditions more effectively and recover faster, so they can get back to normal life quickly.
