Sign in or register with Patient Access to order repeat prescriptions online
Please be aware: The online service is available to patients registered at this surgery only
If you are registered with the practice we will be able to arrange your repeat prescription for you. You can get a prescription request form from reception or we can post / email one out to you. You can also email (bnssg.admin.bmc@nhs.net).
Registered patients can also order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple one-off registration.
If you would like your request sent directly to a pharmacy please indicate on the form where you would like it to be sent. If you would like it sent to your home address send a stamped addressed envelope with your request form.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed (or 72 hours if you are collecting from the pharmacy) and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
The last date you can order prescriptions for Christmas 2022 is the 19th of December which will be processed by the 23rd of December
The last date you can order prescriptions for New Year is the 22nd of December which will be processed by the 30th of December. Please ensure you have submitted your request by those dates to avoid being without medication over the holidays.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse or practice pharmacist, at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Help with NHS costs
In England, around 90% of prescription items are dispensed free. This includes exemptions from charging for those on low incomes, such as:
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website.
